On October 30th, a joint exercise between a number of Findon residents and Arun District Council took place in the village hall. Named Operation Dogwood it was setup to provide a simulated emergency scenario (in this case the discovery of an unexploded bomb) and give the emergency response team some useful training. Now is the time to have your voice heard - do you want safer signalised crossings across the A24 for equestrians, pedestrians, cyclists? West Sussex County Council are carrying out a consultation and would like any feedback. For more information and how to engage in the consultation, please click here.
