After 5 months of being closed, the Findon Village Store and Post Office re-opens, with opening hours being Mon-Sat 6am to 7pm, Sunday 6am to 12 noon.
Work is progressing on the Village Store thanks to a great team of volunteers. The focus this week is on finishing the painting of the shelves etc.

The Findon Village Store are currently looking for paid staff to work from 16:30 to 19:30 on various evenings. This is an ideal opportunity for 17/18 year olds who can spare some time after school or college.

If you haven't already heard, we were successful in our bid for the Village Store and Post Office. We were also able to secure it with sufficient funds remaining to cover all costs necessary to re-open the store.
More information will follow, but in the meantime a big thank you to all those who provided support both financially and behind the scenes.
Today's the day! The auction takes place at 11am and hopefully by lunchtime today, you will be advised of the outcome.

We have now reached 48.25% of our target. Below 100 year old Frank Kornicki shows the target thermometer. It is those like Frank who rely on the services provided by the Village Store and Post Office that will suffer the most if we lose it.
